General Information General Information

Come and join us for an unforgettable family experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for home school families to get together for a jam-packed week of fun, fellowship, and learning. Throughout the week, families will be inspired while learning from various speakers. Families will also have the opportunity to participate in an incredible hands-on SCIENCE workshop. Additional activities include aero ball, air hockey, archery, basketball, canoeing, craft room, eating “smores” around the campfire, foosball, horseshoes, mountain boarding, ping pong, ropes course, swimming, volleyball, zip line, and a hike to Jenks Lake. Dad may come to the dads’ morning devotionals. Mom will avoid the hot kitchen and enjoy “prayer and share” with other like-minded moms. Make this a yearly family tradition.

Detective Skeptic will be your host for your exciting week long adventure. We will be examining the mystery of God’s Love. So get ready all you Sherlock's… we have a case to solve!

MINISTRY THROUGH MYSTERY:Jesus lovingly warned us to avoid deception. Dennis and his wife Sandee Zech, share through humor and illusion, how easy it is to be deceived and the only way to prevent it. Their presentation will amaze you and keep you in suspense while deepening your relationship with Christ.

Christy Valencia-Fulmer has been teaching Homeschool families Incredible Science and Social Study classes for the past several years. She will be presenting at both camps, Incredible Creatures: Great and Small. We will explore Creepy Crawlers and extraordinary Giants and God’s incredible design for them. An invigorating and exciting SCIENCE experience awaits you!

2009 Homeschool Camps
Professor Plum will be your host throughout your camp stay. While you are visiting he will need your assistance in developing the cure for unhappiness. As long as you and your family have the right combination of elements (love and joy) you are bound to have a memorable week of fellowship and fun!

General Session Speaker: Michael Sewell utilizes his God given skills as an actor, singer and writer to evangelize and spread the Word through his dramatic plays and music. Michael has written several plays including, Heart In A Box, The Silver Cord and Hope Chest in which Michael plays the role of men who are searching for life, and find it in the Savior Jesus Christ. Your family will feel encouraged and blessed by his powerful teaching and performances.

Hand’s On Classes: Christy Fulmer is the founder of A La Carte Classes. Whose mission is to excite, inspire and awake young Homeschool minds using time tested hand-on teaching methods. You and your family will enjoy interactive lessons in science and social studies. Come and join her for a sizzling and popping Chemistry adventure!

General Session Speaker: Eric Hovind uses hundreds of fascinating illustrations and documented scientific facts to prove that God's Word is quite literal! The Bible really does contain the answers to many of our most nagging questions about the age of the earth, dinosaurs and the flood. Having a passion for teaching the truth, Eric will keep you entertained as he shares many interesting biblical facts.

Hand’s On Classes: Kevan Myers was Home Educated with the Bible as his primary textbook. His dedication at age six to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature has never wavered. Being involved and speaking in several ministries he is known for his ability to keep active five-year-olds, bored teenagers and skeptical adults on the edge of their seats. Puns and word plays keep audiences thinking and laughing, enabling them to remember the truths discussed.
