You Can Save Our Summer
Hey there MHP friends,
Did you know that our doors have been closed since March 12 due to the pandemic? This has been a hard reality for many non-profits and camp ministry is no exception. As camps, we are closed into the foreseeable future. We are blessed with great servant-minded employees and we are hoping to help support them through a summer with no income. That’s why we are hosting our very own fundraiser this August!
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all fundraising will be virtual. By signing up to support a competitor you will help SAVE OUR SUMMER. That’s because every dollar raised goes towards helping support the ministry of Mile High Pines and our faithful staff.
How does it work?
Staff members and select alumni will compete in 36 obstacles and will receive pledges from friends like you! Please visit our competitor’s page here and support 1 or more people by donating $1, $3, $5 or any amount you choose per obstacle. If you pledge $1 per obstacle and our competitor completes all 36 obstacles you’ve just donated $36 – YOU’RE A HERO!

Save-the-Summer-a-Thon FAQ
Who is participating?
Participants will consist of staff members, select alumni and their families.
Can I attend the event?
This event will abide by social distancing standards, in order to help keep this event safe we are not allowing donors or visitors to attend.
What are the funds used for?
The funds will be largely used to support the payroll of full-time employees. Camp has regrettably not had income since closing its doors in March. With your contributions we will be able to keep staff and their families supported during this time in hopes that we can reopen safely and soon.
What is the event?
Staff will be participating in a camp themed "obstacle event." Each participant will attempt to complete 6 obstacles at least 6 times for a grand total of 36 challenges.
How can I give?
To give go to this page and choose an employee to sponsor. You can give any amount as a flat one time donation. Or pledge a certain amount per obstacle complete (i.e., $1 per obstacle will be charged as $36 if competitor completes all 36 obstacles).
